Kasjish Kasjish Kasjish

Orphan girl Kasjish, one of the 22 children in the TCH. Almost always she carries a photo of her mother, who passed away. On her own way she has given the sadness a place, to live on her live and even to be a little happy.

In the Tara Children's Home in Bodhgaya (in Bihar) are living at the moment 22 very vulnerable orphans. They all come from a desperate situation. Their parents have passed away because of AIDS or are infected with HIV and after that left to their own devices because of fear for infection. The children are traumatised because of repudiation and sometimes also abuse. HIV and AIDS are a big taboo in India.
The children are found in different places, even one child was found in a waste container. Other children come from orphanages at other places where they didn't know what to do with them. The children all come from Bihar.
In the TCH (a project of the Root Institute for Wisdom Culture) they got a loving home, medical accompaniment and an. There are waiting 10 children from other orphanages for a place .The Buddhistic orphanage is still the only of it's kind.
At the moment there are not enough donations. You can help by a giving a one-off donation or a periodical donation for the home. It is also possible to sponsor a child total or partially.

The TCH has become the third project of the Tara Foundation, after a visit in january 2014 of the chairman of the foundation Thupten Dolkar. This visitwas planned already a long time ago.
